If you’ve never heard of Falling Whistles, you’re missing out on something amazing. Let’s just say that Kinetic Affect admires their efforts and feels passionately about their cause. And because we believe that you should too, we are working on a collaboration.

Falling Whistles was started by one man, Sean Carasso. A man who experienced the reality of the lives of child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is here where they say WWIII is taking place–so why doesn’t anyone talk about it?

Well, Falling Whistles is talking about it. Sean Carasso is talking about it. Kinetic Affect has connected with an ex-child soldier who is talking about it. And so now we want to do something about it. Here is the introductory video from the website www.fallingwhistles.com.

What’s Kinetic Affect got to do with it? Well, we want the youths who are “lost” in our country to help speak out about their lives in order to help save the children of another. We are planning a collaboration to use the power of the juveniles we work with to raise awareness and support for the Falling Whistles campaign. It is the juveniles themselves who have asked to take these steps, to help support such a campaign after they heard the story of an ex-child soldier who both survived life in Congo and in Rwanda. There is no doubt that this will lead to a powerful outcome at Lakeside Academy and maybe begin a powerful trend of how we can truly make a difference.

In the meantime, go to www.fallingwhistles.com to learn more about the movement and what you can do to save children and help make our world a better place.
